Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2026: the route, and where to stand
The 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is on Thursday, November 26, 2026, and the broadcast starts at 8:30am on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo. Watching from the street is free. Macy’s hasn’t posted the 2026 route map yet, so the map below is the route it used in 2025 — about 2.5 miles from West 77th Street down Central Park West, across Central Park South and down Sixth Avenue to Herald Square.

The route on a map
Green is where the public can watch; red is where you can’t. Herald Square — Sixth Avenue from 34th to 38th Street and 34th Street to Seventh Avenue — is the TV broadcast zone, closed to spectators.
Route, viewing areas and inflation streets as published for 2025 (NBC New York, West Side Rag, NYC street-closure notice). We’ll redraw the map when Macy’s posts 2026.
