Knitting 102: Halle Hood
About
A two-part knitting workshop for advanced beginners who can already cast on, knit and bind off, in which you knit a chunky Halle Hood from a pattern supplied in class; yarn, size-17 circular needles and a tapestry needle are bought separately. Sessions are at Brooklyn Craft Company in Greenpoint (165 Greenpoint Ave, or its Annex at 37 Greenpoint Ave #105, shown when you book), a short walk from Greenpoint Av on the G. $85 covers both evenings: Wednesday 28 October, 6:30–9:30pm, and Wednesday 4 November, 6:30–8:30pm. It is one of three knitting courses on our calendar right now, and all three are at this shop.

Textile classes range from weaving on a frame or rigid-heddle loom to embroidery, knitting, crochet, natural dyeing, felting and sewing a first garment.
