Cmyk Screenprinting // October
About
CMYK Screenprinting is a three-session workshop at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, run by the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in Manhattan's Garment District. Zaire Anderson teaches you to make a four-layer print in an edition of six that reproduces a photograph of your choice. You separate the cyan, magenta, yellow and black channels, get a brief Photoshop tutorial, and learn to register a four-colour print. The page calls it beginner friendly and suggests it suits photographers too. Sessions are in person on Saturday 17 October, Sunday 18 October and Saturday 24 October 2026, from 11am to 3pm each day. The price includes materials and 12 hours of free studio time, which expires one month after the final class. The online processing fee is extra. The page states no minimum age or capacity. Cancel at least two weeks before the start for a 90 percent refund or full class credit. Pricing is $480 for members and $530 for non-members. The workshop is at 323 West 39th Street, New York, NY 10018, a few minutes from Port Authority (A, C, E) and 34th St-Penn Station (1, 2, 3). For comparison on this calendar, Blackburn's Intro to Screenprint on 21 November is $340 members or $390 non-members, and the Lower East Side Printshop's Intro to Screenprinting is $425.
