First Friday: Mutual Aid Supply Drive
About
The museum's November late night doubles as a winter supply drive for Bronx Mutual Aid, tied to Alex Strada's Public Address project, which puts words and drawings by people in city shelters onto Bronx street signs. Bring outerwear, warm accessories or new travel-size toiletries and stay for snacks, drinks, music and the galleries open late. It runs 6 to 8pm on Friday 6 November at 1040 Grand Concourse (B/D to 167 St, or the 4 to 161 St–Yankee Stadium); entry is free and the RSVP optional. The event page's body text says Friday 7 November, but 6 November is the Friday and the date the listing gives.
