Docent naturalists set a moderately paced, exercise-focused 5-mile hike past Horseshoe Lake and Alpine Pond, with a 700-foot elevation gain. It runs Wednesday, November 11, 10 AM–1 PM, from the Skyline Ridge Circle Parking Area on Skyline Boulevard, about a mile south of the Page Mill/Alpine Road junction (drive/park).
