On the opening day of Azzedine Alaïa: Sculpting Fashion, journalist Cathy Horyn and Foundation Azzedine Alaïa director Olivier Saillard discuss the designer's life and techniques, moderated by curator Laura L. Camerlengo, in the Gunn Theater at the Legion of Honor, 100 34th Ave in Lincoln Park (18 46th Avenue bus, or the 38 Geary plus a walk). It starts at 1 pm on Saturday, Nov 21; a free program, with tickets handed out in front of the theater from 9:30 am. The exhibition itself, also on our calendar, opens that morning.
