A group show in seven chapters, from the 'Petrocene' to 'Petromelancholia', on how oil has shaped contemporary art, imagination and North–South power relations, with works by Robert Smithson, Nancy Holt and Zina Saro-Wiwa among others. At Villa Medici, Viale della Trinità dei Monti 1 above the Spanish Steps (Spagna Metro A), until 18 January 2027, open 10 AM–7 PM with last admission 6:30 PM, closed Tuesdays. Dated tickets €12 / €10 reduced; open tickets €15 / €12.
