About
A six-hour private course over two sessions in which you carve a ring of your own design in wax, learning carving, texturing and finishing, and the studio casts it in sterling silver, platinum or gold. At Fitzgerald Jewelry, 243 Grand St in Williamsburg, near Bedford Av (L) and Marcy Av (J, M, Z). $600 plus the wholesale cost of your metal; the first sitting is about four hours and the second about two, booked first and then scheduled between 12 and 6 PM, no evenings. Of the 18 jewelry classes on our calendar, Fitzgerald's private sessions are the only ones in North Brooklyn.
