Succulent Terrarium Workshop is a one-hour session at KraftStories' Midtown studio where you build a miniature desert landscape in a glass container from succulents, stones and layered materials, then take it home the same day. No experience is needed, all materials and tools are included, an instructor guides each step, and the studio lists it for ages 6 and up. Public and private sessions hold up to 12 people. The price is $79 per person. The studio is at 325 W 38th St #706, New York, NY 10018 (Garment District), a short walk from 42 St-Port Authority (A, C, E) and Times Sq-42 St (1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, S, 7). It has elevator access to the workshop floor and is wheelchair accessible. KraftStories is the studio that publishes this site. It is the shortest of the studio's terrarium classes: the Signature Terrarium Making session here runs 1.5 hours and starts at $69, and the Sip & Plant Experience is a longer evening with drinks. Terrarium building is a small category on our NYC calendar, and every terrarium listing we carry comes from KraftStories, so this is the quick one-hour option for an after-work plan near Penn Station and Port Authority.
