Artisan Soy Candle Making
About
Artisan Soy Candle Making is a one-hour workshop at KraftStories' Midtown studio where you pour two soy candles into holders, choose a scent and add dried botanicals or colour if you like. The studio uses eco-friendly soy wax, a premium fragrance selection and handcrafted decorative holders, and you take the candles home the same day. No experience is needed, all materials and tools are included, and the studio lists the class for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision for younger guests. The holder sets the price. A clear glass holder is $59 and a handmade mosaic candle holder is $79. Public workshops hold up to 45 people. The studio is at 325 W 38th St #706, New York, NY 10018 (Garment District), a short walk from 42 St-Port Authority (A, C, E) and Times Sq-42 St (1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, S, 7). It has elevator access to the workshop floor and is wheelchair accessible. KraftStories is the studio that publishes this site. Candle-making is a recurring format on our NYC calendar, with listings at Mosaic Art Studio and Sense 7 Tufting as well as at both KraftStories rooms. This is the Midtown option, a short walk from Penn Station, Port Authority and Times Square, and a good fit for a one-hour group plan near the theatre district.
