About
Ten weeks of acrylic and oil painting fundamentals with one-to-one guidance, pitched at every level from first-timer up. At Art Lab, Snug Harbor, 1000 Richmond Terrace — Staten Island Ferry, then the S40. $395; the Saturday section runs 10am–1pm from 3 October, with a Tuesday-evening section (6:30–9:30pm) that began 29 September. Thirty hours of tuition puts it at about $13 an hour, the lowest rate of any taught painting course on our Staten Island calendar.
