Mosaic Candle Holder Class is a 1.5-hour workshop at KraftStories' Financial District studio where you design and assemble a candle holder from coloured glass and beads and take it home the same day. No experience is needed, all materials and tools are provided, and an instructor guides you through each step. The studio lists the class for ages 8 and up with an adult. Public sessions hold up to 24 people. The price is $79 per person. In-person public bookings can be cancelled for a refund up to two days before the session. The studio is at 93 Pearl St, 4th floor, New York, NY 10004, near Wall St (2, 3), Bowling Green (4, 5) and Broad St (J, Z). It is stairs-only with no elevator; the Midtown studio is the step-free option. It is the smallest of the studio's glass mosaic sessions, a good way into the craft before moving up to the Turkish Mosaic Lamp (from $99, two hours). Our calendar also lists candle-related classes at Mosaic Art Studio and Sense 7 Tufting, and a Soy Candle Making session at this studio where you can pour a candle into a mosaic holder for $79 or a clear glass one for $59, so you can choose between making the holder, making the candle, or both.
