Start Woodworking: Cutting Board
About
Makeville's three-evening beginner course: shop safety, choosing wood and running the main machines, ending with a cutting board you take home. Tuesday to Thursday, 13–15 October, 7–10pm, at Makeville's Gowanus woodshop, 119 8th St, a short walk from 4 Av–9 St (F, G, R). $360 tuition plus a $70 materials and equipment fee. It is one of two Brooklyn shops on our calendar teaching machine woodworking from scratch, the other being Craftsman Ave in Sunset Park.
