Beginner Tote Bag Sewing
About
An adults-only beginners' session sewing a lined canvas tote, starting with threading the machine, straight seams, corners and backstitching. Held at Brooklyn Stitch Studio, 117 9th St, Studio 102, in Gowanus; F, G or R to 4 Av-9 St. $90 for about two to two and a half hours; first date Thursday 8 October at 7pm, with repeats on Sunday 1 November at 10am and Thursday 12 November at 7pm. It is among the cheapest learn-to-sew classes we list.
