Amaco Mid-range Glaze Workshop
About
A two-day glaze workshop with AMACO glaze designer Cory Brown on the company's cone 5–6 mid-range glazes: a presentation and demo on reading labels and layering, then hands-on glazing of your own bisqueware with pint samples. It runs at Greenwich House Pottery's artist membership studio, 27 Barrow St (4th floor), a minute from Christopher St–Sheridan Sq on the 1. $180 covers Sunday 4 October (10am–1pm instruction, 2–4pm hands-on) and Saturday 10 October (10am–4pm), including a glaze firing for up to three pieces. It is one of only a handful of dated ceramics workshops on our calendar this autumn and the only one devoted purely to glaze.
