2026 Halloween Harvest Festival + Season Closeout

About

Socrates Sculpture Park hosts its Halloween Harvest Festival on Saturday 31 October, from noon to five in the afternoon. The Eventbrite page describes family-friendly workshops, a community resource fair and a dog costume contest co-presented with Chateau le Woof, and adds that more information is still to come, so the detail of each workshop may be added closer to the day. The festival is aimed at families and neighbours rather than any particular skill level, and no minimum age is printed. Our listing records it as free with an RSVP required. The Eventbrite page shows only a Get tickets button and prints no price, so reserve through that page and read the terms there. It states that refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Socrates Sculpture Park is at 32-01 Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens, on the East River waterfront beside Astoria. The nearest subway is Broadway on the N and W lines, followed by a ten-minute walk west, or you can take the B62 bus. If you are planning a Halloween weekend, the Riverside Park Pup Halloween Parade on Saturday 24 October is another costume event for dogs, and the Halloween Boo Bash on Randall's Island happens the same day.
