A six-mile guided ride through the freight side of Newtown Creek — truck routes through Maspeth, rail yards and the tug traffic on the water — for confident riders comfortable around trucks; bring your own bike and helmet. Starts at Manhattan Avenue Street End Park, 1200 Manhattan Ave, Greenpoint, a walk north from Greenpoint Av (G). Sunday 11 October, 10am–noon; no price is published on the listing. The middle of the Alliance's three October rides, and the longest.
