Harmonica Workshop

About

The Harmonica Workshop is a three-hour class at the Waikiki Community Center, 310 Paoakalani Avenue in Waikīkī, Honolulu, scheduled for October 15 from 2 to 5 pm. The center's flyer lists the time and the price but does not name the instructor, the level or the age range, and it does not say whether to bring your own harmonica, so ask the center before you go. The workshop costs $35. Our calendar record notes that pre-registration and a non-refundable prepayment are required, but the flyer we read prints that requirement under a separate heading, so confirm the terms with the center when you sign up. The center's events page does not list this workshop, and the flyer does not tie the date to the event, so the date comes from our calendar record. Parking and TheBus details are not stated. It is the only harmonica class on our calendar. Other things from the same community center include the Drop-In Hula Class on Mondays and the Drop-In Tahitian Dance Class on Fridays, each $12, plus a Kamaka ʻUkulele Tour on October 17 and a free community plant sale on October 24. That evening, Plantoem in Kaimukī hosts its free Jazz & Poetry Night from 7 to 9 pm, so a music-focused day is possible.
