Care for the Crater Workday at Diamond Head
About
A Saturday-morning volunteer shift inside Lēʻahi (Diamond Head) crater, run by the state parks team and posted on the 808 Cleanups calendar. Meet inside the crater at Diamond Head State Monument off Diamond Head Rd and tell the parking attendants you are there to volunteer. Saturday 3 October, 9 am to noon; free, with sign-up through the DLNR volunteer page. It is one of two workdays inside the crater on our calendar this week, the other being the evening Lēʻahi summit cleanup on 8 October.
