HIFF Selects: the Only Living Pickpocket in New York
About
HIFF Selects: The Only Living Pickpocket in New York is an advance screening in HIFF Selects, the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival's monthly movie club that shows sneak previews of anticipated films. HIFF's showtime page for this event prints no director, runtime, language, rating or synopsis, so check boxoffice.hiff.org or the festival's Selects page before you go for details on the film itself. The screening is on October 13 at 7:00 PM at Consolidated Theatres Kahala, 4211 Waialae Avenue, in the Kahala area of Honolulu. HIFF says Selects seating is first come, first served and screenings often fill quickly, so arrive early. HIFF's venue record notes that most screenings sit on a Kalanianaʻole or Waiʻalae bus route. The event page lists no ticket price. HIFF sells Selects as an annual membership, at $120 a year for one member or $200 a year for Selects+ covering two, and HIFF's how-to page lists regular advance Kahala tickets at $17, with $15 for seniors, students and military with ID and $20 for rush tickets. Confirm what applies to this screening at the box office. This is the earliest upcoming HIFF listing on the calendar. The next, the opening night premiere of The Navigator at Hawaiʻi Theatre Center, follows on October 21, and a second HIFF Selects screening, Ben’imana, is set for November 17.
