Art Club for Teens
About
This is a free weekly studio for 13- to 18-year-olds. Members try paint, paper, printmaking, fabric and beads, and newcomers can drop in alongside experienced young artists. It meets Wednesdays, 3:30–6:30 PM, at Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Avenue, about a 10-minute walk from Richmond BART. It is free, but registration is required. Free, materials-supplied after-school art for teens is rare in the East Bay, which makes it worth knowing about.
