Artist Catherine Cruz teaches monoprinting with a gel plate and acrylics, covering pulling prints, layering colour and using masks and mark-making tools to make sheets for collage or cards. Image transfer is not covered. It runs Saturday, December 12, 11 AM–3 PM, with a half-hour lunch break, at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street (drive/park). The price is $130 ($115 plus $15 materials), for ages 16+. You need no press, which is why gel printing is the printmaking method people most often keep doing at home.
