Vicki Assegued guides students in piecing several fabrics into a free-form textile, shaping and stuffing it into a soft vessel, then embellishing it with fibre and found trims. Bring a needle, thread and fabric scissors if you have them. It runs Sunday, December 13, 10 AM–3 PM, at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street (drive/park). The price is $100 plus a $25 materials fee, and an early-bird code takes $25 off until November 13. It suits anyone from beginners to experienced sewists who want a sculptural project.
