Make a Kite with Jacob Hashimoto
About
Artist Jacob Hashimoto teaches kite-making inside Giant Arc, his installation of roughly 70,000 bamboo-and-paper kites, with time to keep building after his session ends. It runs 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Roberts Family Gallery on Floor 1 of SFMOMA, 151 Third St, near Montgomery St BART. Free and open to the public, no museum ticket needed, all ages and no experience required. The free ground-floor gallery means you can drop in without committing to a full museum visit.
