First Fire: Glass Fusing for Beginners

About

BAGI calls this its most accessible class. You cut and layer coloured sheet glass into a small dish, tile, coaster set or sun catcher, and the studio fuses it in the kiln, with no solder or grout involved. Sessions are Sunday, October 25 (10 AM–12:30 PM), Saturday, November 7 (10 AM), and Fridays November 13 and 20 (2 PM) at 635 Phelan Avenue, San José, where you drive and park for free in History Park. At $50, it is one of the least expensive hands-on glass classes in the Bay Area.
