San Francisco Habitat Stewards

About

A Wednesday-morning restoration crew that rotates among Fort Funston, Lands End, Baker Beach and the Presidio, pulling weeds, planting, watering, mulching and clearing debris in dune, creek and grassland habitat. It runs 9 am–noon every Wednesday, is free, open to all ages (under-18s need a signed parent form), and the exact meeting spot arrives in your registration email; Lands End is reached on the Muni 38R, Fort Funston is a drive/park site. Because the site changes week to week, regulars use it as a free tour of the city's wild coastal edge.
