Fort Mason Historic Landscaping and Maintenance
About
A Tuesday-morning crew keeps Fort Mason's historic grounds in shape: litter pick-up, weeding invasives, pruning, sand removal, small site improvements and trail upkeep. Meet at the Fort Mason flagpole (exact spot in the confirmation email), 9 am–noon, free, ages 10+, weekly from Oct 20 through Dec 29; Muni 28, 30 and 49 all stop close by. It's one of the easiest GGNRA volunteer shifts to reach by transit from downtown.
