The smaller midweek editions of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market set up outside the Ferry Building on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a tighter selection of farms and prepared-food stalls aimed at the downtown lunch crowd. Hours are 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Ferry Building, Embarcadero at Market St, by Embarcadero BART/Muni. Free to browse. Midweek is much calmer than Saturday, so it is the better pick for a relaxed shop.
