Nov14Clay DayNov 14 – Nov 14A beginner wheel-throwing session for adults 18 and over: an instructor demonstrates centering and pulling up a form, then everyone gets their own time at the wheel, and each student chooses one piece for the studio to glaze and fire (ready for pickup roughly four to six weeks later). It runs Saturday, November 14, 1–4 pm at Pottery Northwest's studio at 2254 7th Ave in South Lake Union, about a 10-minute walk from Westlake Station (1 Line). Nov20Clay NightFriday, 6:00 PMA Friday-evening first try at the potter's wheel for adults 18+: after a demo on how the wheel works and how to center clay, participants throw on their own, then pick one piece that staff will glaze and fire for pickup in about four to six weeks.
