Knit-a-long: Lakes Pullover
About
A guided group knit of Ozetta's Lakes Pullover, a saddle-shoulder sweater in worsted weight, aimed at advanced-beginner to intermediate knitters rather than first-timers. Morgan leads meetings on Saturdays November 21 and 28 and December 5 and 19 (December 12 is a catch-up break), 3:30–5:30pm, at The Nifty Knitter, 317 NW Gilman Blvd in Issaquah, a 15-minute walk from Issaquah Transit Center (Sound Transit 554). The fee is $120, with yarn and needles extra.

New to textiles?
Textile classes range from weaving on a frame or rigid-heddle loom to embroidery, knitting, crochet, natural dyeing, felting and sewing a first garment.
- Check whether the class is for complete beginners or assumes you can already cast on or thread a machine.
- Single sessions usually make something small: a wall hanging, a hoop, a dyed scarf.
- Bring reading glasses if you use them; most fibre work is close-up.
Taking it home: Usually the same day. Larger pieces may be finished at home with the yarn or thread you leave with.
