Windowsill Carnivorous Bogs
About
Adelaide Nitroy of Fancy Plants shows how to build a small, waterlogged bog garden where carnivorous plants can thrive, and how to keep it going at home. The one-hour, all-ages class runs 1–2pm Saturday at the UW Botanic Gardens' Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41st St (King County Metro routes 65 and 75). It costs $43 with supplies included, and financial aid is offered. The same instructor leads a closed terrarium class here on 12 December.
