Basket Weaving: Pine Needle Basket
About
A beginner coiling class that starts a long-leaf pine needle basket, pendant or ornament on a stone centre, stitched with waxed Irish linen and finished with beads; it covers choosing and preparing needles, starting and finishing. It runs Saturday 24 October, 1pm to 5pm, at the San Diego Craft Collective, 2590 Truxtun Rd, Studio 106, Liberty Station (MTS Route 28 runs along Rosecrans St by Liberty Station), for ages 18+. The class is $105 plus a $15 material fee paid to the instructor. The collective repeats it on 21 November and 20 December, both 9am to 1pm.
