Visitor Center Guided Nature Walk
About
A ranger-style interpretive walk on the Oak Grove Loop, Visitor Center Loop and Grinding Rocks Trail, covering the park's plants, animals, geology, history and ecology. Walks leave from the front of the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center, One Father Junipero Serra Trail, every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 11am (8:30am in July and August). They are free and open to the public with no reservation, and are cancelled if it rains. The park also runs a Kumeyaay Lake walk on the second and fourth Saturdays.
