Kumeyaay Lake Campground Walk
About
A guided walk around Kumeyaay Lake and the Grasslands Trail, taking in a Kumeyaay grinding-rock site and the Old Mission Dam overlook, sometimes with stretches of the shoreline or Oak Canyon. It meets at the Kumeyaay Lake Campground entry station in Mission Trails Regional Park on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, 8:30am to 10am. Like the park's other interpretive walks it is free, needs no reservation and is cancelled in rain. On the third Saturday the same campground hosts a Family Discovery Walk.
