The Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel, open free of charge on the last Sunday of the month, from 9 AM to 2 PM with final entry at 12:30 PM; in this period that means 25 October, 29 November and 27 December 2026. Free visitors can't book skip-the-line entry, though guided tours can be reserved. Entrance on Viale Vaticano, a walk from Ottaviano or Cipro (Metro A); halls must be left 30 minutes before closing.
