Villa dei Quintili and the Casale di Santa Maria Nova, the largest Roman villa on the city's outskirts (entrances Via Appia Antica 251 and Via Appia Nuova 1092), are free on the first Sunday of the month (1 November and 6 December 2026). Winter hours are 9 AM–4:30 PM, with last entry 75 minutes before closing. Get the free 'Domenica al Museo' ticket on the Musei Italiani site or app, or at the entrance totems (card payment only).
