Free First Sunday at the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine

About

On the first Sunday of every month (1 November and 6 December 2026) admission to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine is free, by Piazza del Colosseo next to Colosseo Metro B. Free tickets can't be reserved: they are handed out at the ticket offices in order of arrival (Piazza del Colosseo for the Colosseum–Forum–Palatine route; Largo della Salara Vecchia and Foro Romano 1 for the Forum Pass route including the Imperial Forums) and are valid only that day. From 25 October the park is open until 4:30 PM with last entry at 3:30 PM; on free days the arena, underground, upper tiers and panoramic lift are closed and the Domus Aurea is not included.
