Marguerite Yourcenar: the Elegance of Myth

About

A literary and archaeological morning at Hadrian's Villa for the International Literary Parks Days, marking 45 years since the author of 'Memoirs of Hadrian' joined the Académie française. At 10:30 AM archaeologist Sabrina Pietrobono leads a walk of about an hour along the 'Yourcenar route' from the Teatro Greco to the Canopus, followed around noon by a talk at the Mouseia and a small display including a signed 1958 edition of the novel. Free, but booking is mandatory; held in Italian.
