Inspired by Vladimir Nabokov's 1943 poem A Discovery (the novelist was also a butterfly specialist), this display at the Museo Civico di Zoologia shows red-labelled type specimens and 16 large high-definition insect photographs with scientific captions, accompanied by a film with readings. Via Ulisse Aldrovandi 18, by the Bioparco in Villa Borghese, until 15 November 2026, Tuesday–Sunday 9 AM–7 PM (last entry 6 PM). €10.50 / €5.50 reduced, free for Rome residents.
