Public Star Party
About
Volunteers from the Los Angeles Astronomical Society, the Los Angeles Sidewalk Astronomers and The Planetary Society set up dozens of telescopes on the Observatory lawn so visitors can look at the Sun, Moon, planets and other objects and talk with amateur astronomers. It runs 2–9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 14 at Griffith Observatory, 2800 E Observatory Rd, reachable on the LADOT DASH Observatory shuttle from the Metro B Line Vermont/Sunset station. The Observatory describes its monthly star parties as free. The next one on our calendar is Dec 19.
