Public Star Party
About
Griffith Observatory's December star party puts many telescopes from local astronomy groups out on the lawn for anyone to look through, with volunteers on hand to explain what you are seeing. It runs 2–9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 19 at 2800 E Observatory Rd; the LADOT DASH Observatory shuttle runs up from the Metro B Line Vermont/Sunset station. The Observatory bills its monthly star parties as free. November's edition is on Nov 14.
