For throwers who can already wedge, center 2 to 3 lbs of clay, trim and glaze, this four-week course moves into larger and more complex forms such as lidded pieces, teapots, two-part forms, altered shapes and colored-slip surfaces. It meets Tuesdays 7 to 9pm at The Pottery Studio, 2972 Century Place, Costa Mesa: Nov 3, 10, 17 and 24, with a December session after that. The price is $195 per four-week session.
