Art Space
About
A monthly art club for kids 8 to 11 that looks at a different artist or style each time and ends with a project; in November the group studies Faith Ringgold's story quilts and makes a mini quilt. It meets on the first Monday of the month, 4 to 5 p.m., in the Stahr Storytime Room at Newport Beach Central Library, 1000 Avocado Ave (a short walk from the OCTA Newport Transportation Center); dates on the calendar include Nov 2 and Dec 7. No registration is required and no price is listed; materials are provided while supplies last and kids need an adult with them.
