Introduction to Drawing & Botanical Illustration
About
Local artist Brenda Benveniste teaches the basics of drawing the garden's flowers and foliage: close observation, light values and shading to build form. No experience is needed, all professional materials are included, and the class is held outdoors, so bring sun protection. It runs 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sherman Library & Gardens, 2647 E Coast Hwy, Corona del Mar (OCTA Route 1 runs along Coast Highway); members $65, non-members $75.
