Opening night of Capistrano Lights, the Mission's holiday season: a Capistrano Lights ticket covers same-day admission plus a 5pm tree lighting and music program, Dickens-era carolers and Santa photos from 3:30 to 6:30pm, a nativity, light displays, kids' crafts, a harpist in the Serra Chapel, and a 6:05pm digital projection on the story of the Mission. Hours are 10am to 7pm at 26801 Old Mission Rd, a short walk from the San Juan Capistrano Metrolink/Amtrak station. The listing does not publish a ticket price. Capistrano Lights continues on select days through December 30.
