Embroidered Ornament
About
Stitch a personalized ornament in a mini embroidery hoop, from a design you bring or draw on the day, learning basic stitches and how to transfer an image to fabric. Victoria Kolbuck teaches the beginner workshop from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, December 19, at Lillstreet Art Center, 4401 N Ravenswood Ave (Montrose Brown Line). It costs $130 ($125 members) plus a $5 materials fee.

New to textiles?
Textile classes range from weaving on a frame or rigid-heddle loom to embroidery, knitting, crochet, natural dyeing, felting and sewing a first garment.
