Needle Felt a Christmas Gnome
About
An introduction to needle felting with Jackie Bartolini, who demonstrates techniques and shares tips on tools, materials and embellishments as you make a Christmas gnome. It runs 10am–1pm at La Grange Art League, 122 Calendar Ave (La Grange Road, Metra BNSF), for ages 12 and up, with seating limited to 10 and registration closing 27 November. The class is $40, plus an optional $25 felting kit paid to the teacher in cash or check.

Textile classes range from weaving on a frame or rigid-heddle loom to embroidery, knitting, crochet, natural dyeing, felting and sewing a first garment.
