City & State Shorts: Journey Within
About
A Chicago International Film Festival program of eight short films, from Vespers to Structure, circling around anxieties real and imagined: unknown family lineage, romantic longing, career letdowns and a couple of bloody satires. It screens at the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N Clark St (Sedgwick on the Brown/Purple Lines or Clark/Division on the Red Line), on Saturday 24 October from noon; the program runs 96 minutes and carries nudity, gore and strobe warnings. No single-ticket price is published on the listing, though festival passes are accepted. The museum has three more festival screenings across the same weekend on our calendar.
