Wright, give small-group portfolio reviews as participants rotate between their tables for feedback and an art exchange; space is capped at 16. It runs Saturday, October 24, 2–4 PM, in Studio U7 at Cubberley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto (drive/park). It is free, with an RSVP required. The same studio wings open to the public for Cubberley Open Studios on November 14, also on our calendar.
Nov 14 – Nov 14Twenty-three resident artists working in painting, photography, sculpture, textiles and printmaking open their studios in the E, F and U wings at the north end of Cubberley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto (drive/park). Miguel Novelo's augmented-reality sculpture Bennu W<3 is on view between the wings. The event runs Saturday, November 14, 1–5 PM, and is free. The Friends of the Palo Alto Library book sale is on site the same day, so it is easy to combine the two.
