Printmaking Workshop: Gelli Plate Prints
About
Liz Schiff teaches monoprinting on a gelatin-style gel plate, a press-free way to layer color and texture, at Sharon Art Studio, in the historic Sharon Building at 300 Bowling Green Drive in Golden Gate Park (N Judah to Carl & Cole, or the 7 Haight-Noriega to Haight & Stanyan, then a short walk into the park). It runs 11 am–3 pm on Wednesday, Nov 4 for $175 (members) or $200 (non-members), 18+. Gel plates are cheap and need no press, so it's a printmaking method you can easily carry on with at a kitchen table.
